Everdust is on Meta Quest

Everdust is free on the Meta Horizon Store for Meta Quest 3 and 3S, with no ads and no account: over 150 living worlds you can reach into with your hands or Touch controllers, headset games, narrated science stories and Calm. What's free, what's in the headset and what to try first.

Everdust is on the Meta Horizon Store for Meta Quest 3 and 3S, as of November 2, 2026. It's free, with no ads and no account: Everdust on the Meta Horizon Store. On the headset, search the Store for Everdust.

If you were on the Quest alpha list, thank you.

What it is in the headset

Over 150 living worlds you can touch, play and step into: space, nature, light and music. Every one is a live simulation, not a video, from colliding galaxies and black holes to murmurations, fractals and the deep sea. Reach in and stir a vortex, push a cloud of stars or send a wave through the ocean.

It's built for hand tracking, and Touch controllers work too: pick one up any time and it takes over. Play seated, standing or roomscale, in your room with passthrough or fully immersed. There's a Calm speed and a scene lock for when you want nothing to move fast.

Games you play with your hands

  • Free in full: Galaxy Billiards, Black Hole Golf, Fireworks, Lightfold and Orb Popper. Bend a ball round black holes, collide galaxies, light a firework and step back, or carry prisms and water drops until white light splits into color.
  • Start free: Smoke-Ring Archery, Lantern Temple, Rain Piano, Marble Machine and A Handful. Each one's first levels are free.

Stories, Calm and music

Narrated science stories. The Story of Everything, from the first light of the universe to the Earth, is free: all nine chapters, each a live world you're standing in. Every other Story starts with free chapters.

Calm. A sleep timer, a focus timer, guided breathing and a 10-minute NSDR (non-sleep deep rest) session over a slow scene. Tonight's Sky shows what's up in your sky tonight, then takes you there.

Your music, your way. No sync, where the worlds move on their own; Mixes, free mixtapes streamed in the app; songs on your headset; the room or music from another app; or play from your phone on the same Wi-Fi.

What's free on Quest

Everything above that's marked free is free for everyone, with no time limit, and there are no ads. The rest of the starts-free games' levels and the rest of the Stories belong to Everdust Plus, which isn't on sale on Quest yet: the Meta Horizon Store lists no add-ons for Everdust as of November 4, 2026. Plus is on sale on the App Store and Google Play (what Plus costs there).

Night Sky, the real night sky you can fly into, isn't in the Quest version yet. It's on Apple Vision Pro since version 1.1, on iPhone and iPad and Android since November 7, 2026, and it comes to Quest in a later update.

A few things to try first

  1. Galaxy Billiards. Collide two galaxies with your hands and watch the gas flare.
  2. Black Hole Golf. Pull back toward you, then let go, and let gravity bend the shot.
  3. The Story of Everything. Free in full: stand inside the first light of the universe while the narrator explains what you're seeing.
  4. Any world, with your hands open. Reach in slowly and let the particles flow round your fingers.

How do I use it?

  • Everdust's menu: turn your left palm toward you and pinch, or pinch twice quickly with either hand. With controllers, press the left menu button.
  • Move a scene: pinch and drag with one hand. Resize or turn it: pinch with both hands and pull apart, or twist.
  • Recenter: Recenter in Everdust's menu brings the scene back in front of you. With a controller, click the thumbstick.
  • Exit: Exit in Everdust's menu, or Meta's menu (right palm toward you and pinch).

The Meta Quest section of the support page has the rest.
