Hands-on

Three-Body Ink 3D

Three glowing orbs on a real three-body orbit stir a volume of glowing ink; left alone, the orbit turns chaotic, one escapes, the other two spiral together and a new figure-eight begins.

Put a finger on an orb to grab it and let go while moving to throw it into a new orbit; drag empty space to turn the view and pinch to zoom.

The idea
Real Newtonian gravity: three equal masses starting on the famous figure-eight orbit, with a small nudge that lets chaos in. The ink is a vortex flow shed by the orbs, not a fluid simulation of real ink.
With music
Subtle on purpose: kicks make one orb surge with a shock shell, bass feeds another orb's ink, vocals make the third glow; mid onsets add streamers. Tap Demo beat for our own beat, or Your music to let it hear the room.
How it runs
It’s the same live simulation as in the Everdust apps, running in your browser on WebGL 2. If your device struggles, it lowers the detail a step at a time to keep the motion smooth.

This is just a taste
