Hands-on

Laser Cathedral

A dark gothic nave in haze: lasers on the floor fan their beams up into mirrors on the ridge, and the beams come back down as arches and vaults of light; a rose window of light, windows onto deep space, and inks rising like incense along the aisles.

Drag to look around; touch things to play with them.

The idea
The Laser Show's projector model with mirrors added: every arch is a real beam path bounced off the ridge mirrors. Ring the bell, raise the mirrors, and play the laser harp, the piano, the drums and the gong.
With music
As in Laser Show: kicks step the strobe and move the show on, bass opens the fans, vocals sweep the colour, hi-hats flicker the beams. Tap Demo beat for our own beat, or Your music to let it hear the room.
How it runs
It’s the same live simulation as in the Everdust apps, running in your browser on WebGL 2. If your device struggles, it lowers the detail a step at a time to keep the motion smooth.

This is just a taste

Loved Laser Cathedral? There are many more worlds in the app.

The Everdust app has every world at full detail, plus games made of physics, stories you step inside, Create (turn any photo into a world), and hand tracking on Vision Pro and Quest. Free during the beta.
